Burn CDs quickly and easily with Windows XP!
There are several different burning software tools available right now, such as Nero and Roxio products. However, with Windows XP you can easily burn data and music CDs.

To burn data to a CD-R or CD-RW, you can browse to your burner drive and simply drag and drop the files you wish to place on the CD. When the files you want are displayed on the drive in your browser, click "Write to CD" and the data well then be placed onto the CD-R or CD-RW in the drive.
To burn a music CD, select "Copy to CD or Device" on the left navigation panel in Windows Media Player. Then, create the playlist you wish to have on your CD by selecting "Edit Playlist" at the top of the player window. When your tracks are selected, click on "Record" and your tracks will be burned to CD-R or CD-RW!

Just because you own a MAC doesn’t mean you can’t have a firewall!

Even though there are far less threats as far as viruses with Macintosh, a firewall is always a good idea to have. Norton’s Personal Firewall is available at www.symantec.com, and NetBarrier’s firewall is available at www.intego.com.

Surfing anonymously is widely available with IP redirection and encryption. Many computer users choose an anonymous web surfing service to prevent pop-up ads, cookies, spammers, hackers and identity thieves from overtaking their systems. There are several services available online that use IP redirection, encryption or both to protect your privacy and identity while surfing the internet. Here are a few of the top sites:

Freedom WebSecure (http://www.freedom.net/)
Freedom's service is approximately US$60 a year for anonymous Web browsing, email, Telnet access, SSL, SSH, news groups, and IRC chatting. The service uses both IP redirection and encryption for your anonymity.
Megaproxy (http://www.megaproxy.com/)
Megaproxy allows you to surf anonymously for limited usage at no cost, or you can purchase a low-priced plan for 30, 90 or 180 days.
Anonymizer (http://www.anonymizer.com/)
Anonymizer charges a monthly fee (free trial limited browsing is available) for complete anonymity. There are several plans to choose from available at the Anonymizer website.
